Retro Fresh punchin'

A little tidbit about myself....
I LOVE punches and love coming up
with different ways to use them.

Its just something about inserting that paper and in a snap
it transformed into something beautiful.....or at least
on its way to being beautified!!!!

This one was super easy to create with graduating sizes of circle punches, banner punch and
some left over DSP called Retro Fresh from Stampin' Up!!!!
Sentiment is from Happy Watercolors stamp set and inked with Chocolate Chip Ink.

Circle punches:
1-3/4"
1-1/2"
1-1/4"
1"
3/4"

Punch two pieces with the Banner punch to create the end flaps.
I fussy cut a strip the same width as the banner punch....(around 5/8")

Added some dimensionals behind the sentiment piece and the largest circle.
Also added a small strip of some of the DSP along the right side.

Love you bunches and bunches

My hubs says this to me often.

"Love you bunches and bunches!!!!"

So I had to create a card with bunches and bunches of hearts!!!!

I used the Banner Blast stamp set and the new Banner punch.....Love love love them.

I stamped the small heart from the stamp set many many many time from the bottom up with
Basic Gray Ink on the piece of
Whisper white card stock to create the background.
I then stamped the red using Real red (the same color as the card base and banners).
I stamped the banner with Basic gray ink and then punched them out.
Adhered them in a swag shape and the middle one is on a dimensional.
Basic gray marker was used to create the lines of the banner.
I have been loving embossing lately so I clear embossed some of the small hearts intermingled within the gray hearts.

Until later, "heart"-y bunch.....Gotta split......TFL!!!!!

Sale-A-Brate Good Times ........ COME ON!!!!!

Now I have you singing that song, right?

There's a party going on 'round here.....a Sale-A-Bration to last
thru out the year
well, until march 31st. 2014 !!!

Click on that pretty wheel barrow on the right to take you
my website so you can join in the fun by purchasing some
of the great products to start making your own gifties.

I created some Valentine gifties using the new tag punch.

and some Hershey's Nuggets.

I started with some Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Cut strips measuring 2" X 6"
(2" is what will fit into the tag punch)

Score with the scoreboard at 2-1/2" and again at 3-1/2"
I punched both end of the strip with the tag punch.

Using the Retro Fresh DSP I cut some more 2" X 6" strips.
Scored and punched exactly like the Cherry Cobbler strips.

If you notice on the pics the Retro Fresh paper strip is more narrow.
I just trimmed off the sides of each strip following the line on the end section of the scallop top.

With Whisper White I punched out heart with the heart punch.
From left to right:
(Left): With a different sheet of Retro Fresh DSP I used the new Bracket Punch to make
the mustache and a Bright Candy dot and some tiny glue dots to a adhere it to the heart.
(Center):  I stamped the chevron image from Petal Parade with
Coastal Cabana Ink onto Whisper White card stock.
Fussy cut it out and then in half following the chevron pattern to create the arrow tip and feathers.
I cut a small strip to create an arrow shaft. Adhered it all together and then applied it to the heart with
dimensionals.
(Right):  Using the new Banner punch....I used Retro Fresh DSP and then with the little heart stamp in
Banner Blast stamp set I inked it with Real Red Ink and stamped onto one of the banners.
Adhered them all with dimensionals onto the heart.

To cover the Nuggets,  I cut strips of Retro Fresh DSP measuring 1" X 3" and wrapped and each nugget.
Use a glue dot to stick the nugget to the center of the treat.
Fold up the strip and tie a twine bow using Island Indigo bakers twine.

Then adhere all the hearts to the fronts using dimensionals.

You can make a production line of sorts to crank these out pretty quick....
if you don't eat all the nuggets before you get finished....
Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Until later, Good timers........Gotta split......TFL!!!!!

Sale-A-Bration makes me wanna hop hop hop!!!

So that's what I did.....

BLOG HOP!!!!!

Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration has begun!!!!!

Lots of great items to purchase and a lot you can earn free.
You don't want to miss it!!!!

Let's get this hoppin' party started!!!

I created this card using some of the In Colors currently available from Stampin' Up!
They are sooooo yummy!!!

I Cut Coastal Cabana card stock into a regular A2 size card base.

I stamped the sentiment from Happy Watercolors stamp set
with VersaMark and used white embossing powder and heat gun to set.

I then sprinkled white embossing powder across the whole card front, sporadically.
Heat embossed it from underneath so it wouldn't blow the
sprinkles off the card base.
Then just to make sure it was totally embossed I heated it on the front also.

On a piece of Whisper white card stock I stamped the design with
Coastal Cabana Ink and Pistachio Pudding Ink
with a great stamp set called Petal Parade and
using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get them positioned just right.

Then I fussy cut out the strip out and adhered it onto the card base
with snail adhesive.

Below you can see the white embossed sprinkles.
Pretty cool, HUH?!?!?!

Wouldn't make some great snow effects....
hmmmmm, Christmas cards next year...maybe?
