Some cutesy pootsie stuff that you won't want to miss out on getting.

Remember if you spend $50.00 (in product - before taxes and S&H) in either the Regular catty or the Occasions catty or a combination of items from both.  You get to choose one item
from the Sale-a-bration catty for FREE.
Yep,  FREE.

for every $50 (in product only-before taxes and S&H) you purchase.....
you get to pick one item from the SAB catty.
$50 - 1 item
$100 - 2 items
$150 - 3 items and so on and so on.

Here a the result of a few of the freebies from the
SAB catty I used for the
making of this card.

I used an aqua painter and many different inks to
create the watercolor look after I embossed the
sentiment using VersaMark and Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder
and heat setting it.

Christmas is almost upon us!!!

Join us in getting ready for the holidays and maybe get some ideas for your
Christmas cards.

Below you will find that mine is pretty simple.  Well,
simple for me as I tend to go
 wayyyy overboard sometimes.....LOL

First,  I taped off the Whisper white piece with washi tape to create a
wide band.....kinda off center.
Then I blended the two colors to resemble the sky and ground.
Then, I gently peeled the tape off and stamped the trees from
"Lovely as a Tree
(One of the oldest available stamp set that Stampin' Up! still carries).

Then, I cut the word "NOEL" (using a thinlit and a Bigshot) out 3 times
 and glued them
one on top of the other to give it some dimension.
Layered it all together and its "LOVELY"

Don't forget to stroll on through all the others and I'm sure they will make
your "Holidays Bright"

Fall & Thanksgiving Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly blog hop.
This month's theme is pretty obvious....right?
....and what a great theme it is too.
Fall is my fave time of year.

What better way to celebrate the holidays is with PIE!!!!
If there was a table full of desserts of every kind imaginable.....
I would choose PIE, any kind of PIE!!!

So,  I just had to make a PIE themed card.
This would make a great card to add to a gift of a real pie.

Created the pie with punch and strips.

Used the circle card thinlit to create the card base.

If you want to see more creative stuff.....just click on the link below.

Fall & Back to School hop

OOooooWeeeee I'm glad school is back in session.
Only two more years and I'll be done sending my 'caboose' off to school.
She's a Junior now and its should be interesting.
This is her on her first day of school this year.

She loves her cosmic bag and skirt.
She wants to be a make-up artist when she finishes all her schooling.
I know she will do a great job.

She's also on the school information staff.
They have student TV correspondents every day
and she does all the make-up and some reporting of various stories.

Ok, now to my project.
I had to create something fitting for a cool teenager sooooo...

I created this cool sneaker.
I found this paper pattern in an older paper crafting book I have and it turned out really cute.
I used Whisper white, Basic Black and Melon Mambo card stock.

So grab your sneakers and join in the hoppin' fun.

Sometimes life is just SUNSHINE.

Just like the Chicago band song.

colorful dawn or dusk sky.
You choose which.
It just feels like Summer to me!!!

Don't forget to cruise with the top down and visit the other Summertime gals.

Celebrate....celebrate.....!!!!

I think the biggest celebration of all should be
BIRTHDAYS!!!!

Yes, there are a lot of people born on the same day....
but your birthday is ...YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!

We have a joke at our house about holidays being RED on the calendar.
The hubs says "if it ain't red on the calendar then it ain't a
holiday".

So now I go over MY birthday date with a red sharpie........bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Hope everyone has a great birthday this year!!!!
This is my virtual card for you!!!!

I love the look of a topiary.

I used my fave stamp set in the new catty........
SPRINKLES OF LIFE.

Don't forget to check out all the celebrations going on during this blog hop.
Give everyone a gift of a comment.

Father's Day blog hop

Nothing is more special when you see the smiles on the faces of the dads and the kids
when they presents are being presented.  The kids get just as much kick out of it as the dads do.

I know a lot of card makers have a hard time creating masculine cards.
I don't......I love creating them.
It doesn't hurt to throw in a little feminine touch though.

I love this one.  The muted colors and the wood grain look on the banners.....
awesome!!!!

Check out the new catty startng June 2nd.
Lots of cuteness happenin'

Happy Mother's Day Blog Hop

What a beautiful holiday to celebrate....after all, NONE of us would be here
if it hadn't been for our Mama's.....Right!?!?!

I will be sending this cutie to my mother-in-love.
My Mama passed away many many years ago.

 Isn't this window kinda spectacular???
I just recently purchased the Scallop lines thinlit and was playing around with it and
I cut out two Strawberry Slush pieces and layered them on top of each other, but I flipped one to
create this fab piece.
I had to cut out a window in the card base to really highlight it.

 Close up

I used Sahara Sand ink foladr the stamped images.
Strawberry Slush for the sentiment.

Now for the line-up of the most gorgeous projects from even more
gorgeous ladies!!!  If you got here from Kathya, then click on the NEXT button below
to continue on your way.

April showers bring May Flowers blog hop

Art imitates life.....or should it be
Life imitates ART!!!

I found this growing in our yard the other day.
Beautiful.....isn't it??

We didn't plant it....we purchased our home less than 2 yrs. ago. and there are some flower beds
that we haven't changed yet. This one happens to be in the flower bed of irises.
I noticed that the leaves were much more broad than the irises...
so I was curious as to what it was going to be.

SURPRISE!!!!

So I wanted to see if I could mimic this beauty.

I used quite a few different things and techniques on this one.  I kept putting it down and then I would notice something else I thought would look great if I added it.
So,  I did!!!!
I used the Love is Kindness stamp and its vertical.  But I think it looks better laying down.  Like I just brought the tulips in from the yard and laid them on the table waiting to be put in a vase.
I colored it using the Aqua painter and ink pads.
Fussy cut the bottom part to hang over the label die and then layered it several times.
Then I threw on some pearls.
Then I added some Crystal Effects on top of the tulips.

I hope I didn't forget anything.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

I hope don't get too wet while hopping through the April showers.....
but there is beauty at every turn.

Click below......I'm sure CONNIE is going to wow you!!!

Here's a list of the beauties in case the showers turn torrential.
