Everything's coming up Red White & Blue !!!

One of my fave color themes.
I have wanted a red, white & blue themed room forever.
Maybe, one day.
But until then we can have one on this blog hop.....yippeee!!!!

Here is the lovely that I created for this hop.
I didn't have the proper blue card stock that I needed for one of the layers {(crazy ...huh?) I needed to get to ordering....right?}
so I created it with sponging on the in color Dapper Denim.
I created the cross hatch piece using the same color and one of the
stamps from the Gorgeous grunge stamp set.
Real Red and Whisper white finishes it off.

You won't want to miss out on all the goodness....
so click on the next button and if you get lost along the way
you can find the line up below to get back on the joy train.

Sad day....!!!!

One of my fave stamp sets is leaving.   "Boys will be boys"
This jumbled up pile of toys reminds me so much of my son, Nick.
He loved piling his toys up.....but don't most boys.
Easier than picking them up and putting them away.

I stamped a few of the legos and then masked off some to create a bigger pile.
Stamped the yo-yo. Used dimensionals on the robot.
Colored them all with the ink pads and a brush.

Click the next button if you strip a gear you can
follow by the list below.

'Lego' over to my website so you can get some of the retiring products before they are all gone.

Don't 'yo-yo' back and forth on what to get....make a big 'ol 'pile' and get it ALL!!!

Until later, boytoys..........Gotta split............TFL!!!!!

Case the Catty hop

I normally don't case too many items.
I like to come up with something different on my own.
But since this is the theme of the hop.........I gave it a go.

I chose the one below from the Occasion Catty (on pg 13)
I love the balloons and the punch that goes with the bundle.
{Balloon Celebration bundle #1405180}

Very simple card......but I love it.

I used to let my daughter let balloons go...on her birthday.
One for each year she was celebrating.
That kinda fell off the radar.
But she still remembers it.
This card is what that reminded me of.

Don't just float along and forget to check out the rest of the bunch.
Click the link below to see the beautimous creation Mary has for you.

If your mid floats away....just look at the list below to help string you along.

Christmas is almost upon us!!!

Join us in getting ready for the holidays and maybe get some ideas for your
Christmas cards.

Below you will find that mine is pretty simple.  Well,
simple for me as I tend to go
 wayyyy overboard sometimes.....LOL

First,  I taped off the Whisper white piece with washi tape to create a
wide band.....kinda off center.
Then I blended the two colors to resemble the sky and ground.
Then, I gently peeled the tape off and stamped the trees from
"Lovely as a Tree
(One of the oldest available stamp set that Stampin' Up! still carries).

Then, I cut the word "NOEL" (using a thinlit and a Bigshot) out 3 times
 and glued them
one on top of the other to give it some dimension.
Layered it all together and its "LOVELY"

Don't forget to stroll on through all the others and I'm sure they will make
your "Holidays Bright"

Once you get all your ideas for your cards.......
get off this wonderful sleigh ride which was cleverly disguised as a
Blog hop
and get to creating.

Nothing says holidays like a homemade gift.
