So that's what I did.....
BLOG HOP!!!!!
Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration has begun!!!!!
Lots of great items to purchase and a lot you can earn free.
You don't want to miss it!!!!
Let's get this hoppin' party started!!!
I created this card using some of the In Colors currently available from Stampin' Up!
They are sooooo yummy!!!
I Cut Coastal Cabana card stock into a regular A2 size card base.
I stamped the sentiment from Happy Watercolors stamp set
with VersaMark and used white embossing powder and heat gun to set.
I then sprinkled white embossing powder across the whole card front, sporadically.
Heat embossed it from underneath so it wouldn't blow the
sprinkles off the card base.
Then just to make sure it was totally embossed I heated it on the front also.
On a piece of Whisper white card stock I stamped the design with
Coastal Cabana Ink and Pistachio Pudding Ink
with a great stamp set called Petal Parade and
using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get them positioned just right.
Then I fussy cut out the strip out and adhered it onto the card base
with snail adhesive.
Below you can see the white embossed sprinkles.
Pretty cool, HUH?!?!?!
Wouldn't make some great snow effects....
hmmmmm, Christmas cards next year...maybe?

Very pretty!!! I love that chevron border and how you used it! :)
ReplyDeleteEek! Love it, and fussy cutting is probably one of the things I learned from my Granny! Hugs, Di
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of your explanation. Today I'm sorting through my Stampin' Up paper and making labels for files, but when I'm done with that, I'm going to try your technique of sprinkling embossing powder. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the embossing! Can't wait to try that for a snow-scape!
